My review of PureTimeWatch.com found a site with not only terrible merchandise, but terrible service to boot! They sent me a watch which was obviously flawed, and they actually thought it was funny that I was returning it. But after l I sent them photos of what my Omega should have looked like, I think they realized they were the real joke.
Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?
I bought of their Omega replica watches and the sub dials weren't really sub dials at all – they were just over the regular dial (check out the picture if that sounds confusing). I had never seen anything like this, and it's the kind of thing you could catch if you just looked at the watch before you shipped it. That clearly didn't happen with my order.
The Site: Usability and Design
The website itself actually looks very slick and professional, but as you know, you can't judge a book by its cover! I was actually really excited to try these guys out based on their site – it has nice photos, is well organized and looks great. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from here…
Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?
These guys actually told me they thought it was hilarious that I would try to return this watch, because nothing was wrong with it! I couldn't believe they actually work in the replica watches business and know so little about watches. I had to find a picture of the real watch and send it to them before they understood the problem – believe me, they weren't laughing then!
Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?
They say it will take 7-10 days, but my Omega took nearly three weeks to get here. They gave me a tracking number, but it took them more than 10 days before they even began the shipment- totally unacceptable.
Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?
Once I proved my point about what this watch was supposed to look like, it was easy enough to return it. However, paying the shipping both ways cost me $50, which is almost half the price of the watch itself.
The Bottom Line
I hate dealing with people like the ones I met doing my review of PureTimeWatch . They are really unprofessional and I strongly suggest you avoid their replica watches.
